Garfield Heights, OHIO: January, 2020 – Cuyahoga County residents will have access to a new, convenient choice for healthcare when Hometown Urgent Care opens its brand new, state-of-the-art clinic in Garfield Heights at 12813 Rockside Road this March 2020.

Hometown Urgent Care, operating 36 locations in Ohio and Michigan, currently has locations at 20300 Chagrin Blvd in Shaker Heights, a few miles east of the new center, and 7715 W. Ridgewood Dr west of the center in Parma.

The aggressive strategy allows Hometown to capitalize on its brand and service model, which provides a one-stop, low cost convenient healthcare center for urgent care, wellness and occupational health needs. It also counterbalances the demand for additional urgent care centers due to a shortage of Primary Care Physicians and the overburdening of emergency rooms.

“We understand there is a need for convenience, especially when your loved ones can’t wait to see the doctor,” said Manoj Kumar, owner and CEO of Hometown Urgent Care. The clinic provides a full-service urgent care, offering a range of medical care for acute injuries and illnesses for all ages, from sports injuries to ear infections and from stiches to sneezes. “Patients do prefer the comfort of a full-service clinic. We’re like an ER for non life-threating conditions with shorter wait times and out-of-pocket costs.”

Like its counterparts, Hometown’s new clinic will offer on-site x-ray, labs, and EKGs while providing convenient access to Occupational Health services, such as work injuries and pre-employment/DOT physicals.

The clinic will be open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering local families a convenient and cost-efficient option for their after-hours health care needs.

“Hometown stands apart from its competitors because of our dedicated focus on clinical staff excellence and training, our modern state-of-the-art facilities, and assuring that our patients receive the best quality and compassionate care possible,” said Kumar. “It is an honor to bring our services to Cuyahoga County, assuring the local residents and businesses affordable care for all minor injuries and illnesses.”

Hometown is known for its fast growth, and the Garfield Heights expansion will mark as the company’s 36th and counting fully equipped medical clinic, a considerable landmark from the original three-locations based company in Dayton, Ohio
