Improving better convenience for patients via early morning or later evening
POLAND, OHIO: August 1, 2018 – Hometown Urgent Care has announced today that it will be extending the hours of their Poland, Ohio center. Starting Monday, August 13, clinic hours will be from 8:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M., improving the convenience for patients who need care early morning or later evening.
As Ohio’s largest urgent care, Hometown prides itself by offering quality affordable, healthcare at 88% less than the ER. The extended hours will help prevent unnecessary trips to the emergency room for minor injuries and illnesses.
“By extending our hours, Hometown extends their commitment to providing patients with quality, affordable care for health related services,” said Tammy Russell, Director of Operations for Hometown Urgent Care of Northeast, Ohio. “This, combined with our recent contemporary style upgrade, allows our healthcare model to better serve lives of each patient we treat.”
In March, Hometown Urgent Care of Poland re-opened their clinic adjacent to its existing location with a modern design health center which includes leading edge equipment (including digital X-ray and EKG), four separate exam rooms, a procedure room and a dedicated employer services room for occupational health needs thus reducing wait times so patients can be seen in a more timely manner.
“It has always been a pleasure to be part of the Poland and Youngstown area,” said Russell. “Our patients and employer partners lead busy lives and need the flexibility of care that is convenient to them.”
Hometown Urgent Care has also recently extended the evening hours of two Columbus, Ohio locations. Clime Rd (4300 Clime Rd) and Groveport (3813 S Hamilton Rd) are now open until 10:00 P.M. to fulfill the needs of patients and employers seeking evening medical care. As more demand goes up, Hometown will continue to adjust other clinic hours to meet the needs of local residents and employer partnerships.
