Zanesville, OHIO: February 19, 2019 – Hometown Urgent Care and Occupational Health, Ohio’s largest privately-owned urgent care company, has begun construction of a brand new, state-of-the-art center in Zanesville, Ohio. Opening date is scheduled for Sunday, April 7th, 2019. The center will be located at 2564 Maple Ave., 43701. Walk-in hours will be seven days a week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 7:00 pm, and Saturday, Sunday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Hometown Urgent Care will invest over $600,000 on the project to deliver its contemporary style ambiance with leading edge equipment and treatment rooms (including digital X-ray and EKG), in addition to creating an atmosphere that keeps patients comfortable and coming back at an affordable cost for services. The expansion will also add 10+ new jobs to the community.

The expansion will allow Hometown to meet the growing needs for high quality, on-demand, affordable healthcare for the Zanesville community and local employers. The standalone Urgent Care will provide low self-pay rates for those without insurance and provide testing that is more affordable than Hospital Urgent Cares.

“A large number of emergency room visits are for non-life threatening conditions and can be treated at a fully equipped medical center like Hometown. With 8% growth in patient deductibles year over year, Hometown can provide significant savings to the Zanesville community besides the convenience of less than 45 minutes of total visit time,” said Chris Hale, SVP of Hometown Urgent Care.

Services will include walk-in urgent care, wellness, occupational health, and an exclusive Workers’ Compensation injury management program that will provide as a one stop healthcare resource for families and employers. Hometown will also partner with the local community and schools to provide seasonal care promotions such as flu shot clinics and student sport physicals.

“Hometown stands apart from its competitors because of our dedicated focus on clinical staff excellence and training, our modern state-of-the-art facilities, and assuring that our patients receive the best quality and compassionate care possible,” said Kumar. “It is an honor to bring our services to Zanesville, assuring the local residents and businesses affordable care for all minor injuries and illnesses.”

Hometown is known for its fast growth, and the Zanesville expansion will mark as the company’s 31st and counting fully equipped medical clinic, a considerable landmark from the original three-locations based company in Dayton, Ohio.
