Expands footprint to 11 centers in the Columbus Area
Columbus, OHIO: March 3, 2020 – Hometown Urgent Care and Occupational Health, Ohio’s largest privately-owned urgent care company, has opened its newest location in Columbus, Ohio. The center is located at 1615 Morse Rd., on the corner of Morse and Karl Rd. Walk-in hours will be seven days a week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 7:00 pm, and Saturday through Sunday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
The expansion is Hometown’s 11th center in the Columbus area which continues to provide the community with the much-needed support for affordable health care. Hometown Urgent Care invested over $600,000 on the project to deliver its contemporary style ambiance with leading edge equipment and treatment rooms (including digital X-ray and EKG), in addition to creating an atmosphere that keeps patients comfortable and coming back at an affordable cost for services.
The standalone urgent care prides itself on affordability, and is recognized by delivering health care services at 60% less than hospital urgent cares and 88% less than the ER for non-life-threatening conditions. Hometown accepts all insurances including Medicaid and provides low self-pay rates for those without insurance. The clinic will be open 7 days a week and no appointments are necessary.
“Hometown stands apart from its competitors because of our dedicated focus on clinical staff excellence and training, our modern state-of-the-art facilities, and assuring that our patients receive the best quality and compassionate care possible,” said Manoj Kumar, president and CEO of Hometown Urgent Care. “It is an honor to expand in Columbus, assuring the local residents and businesses affordable care for all minor injuries and illnesses.”
Services include walk-in urgent care, wellness, occupational health, and an exclusive Workers’ Compensation injury management program that will provide as a one-stop healthcare resource for families and employers. Hometown will also partner with the local community and schools to provide seasonal care promotions such as flu shot clinics and student sport physicals.
Hometown is known for its fast growth, and plans to continue expanding throughout Ohio. On March 3, 2020, the Morse Rd location is one of two centers that opened on the same day. The other center in Garfield Heights, Ohio, 12813 Rockside Rd, opened its doors as another resource for convenient, affordable healthcare to Cuyahoga county. A considerable landmark from the original three-locations based company in Dayton, Ohio just 12 years prior. Today, Hometown Urgent Care is Ohio’s largest urgent care system, and one of the Midwest’s largest providers having expanded operations into Michigan.
