Hometown Research Center
Hometown Urgent Care & Research (HUCR) is a state-of-the-art clinical research company, specializing in adult, pediatric and geriatric Phase II, III, and IV clinical trials since 2008.
The Hometown Advantage for Sponsors
Our TeamIn addition to a team of highly experienced clinical research coordinators, HUCR has ten full-time physicians who are principal investigators and sub-investigators. Our therapeutic specialties include: Family Practice, Urgent Care, and Pain Management. HUCR’s clinical trial team has the training and experience to adhere to strict research protocols, while reporting accurate and timely results and following all FDA, ICH and GCP guidelines. Each member is ACLS Certified and participates in our competitive Continuing Medical Education (CME) program.
HUCR’s parent company, Hometown Urgent Care, has 20 locations in Ohio, and is rapidly expanding. HUCR conducts clinical research at five of these sites: High Street and Groveport in Columbus, Woodman Drive and Dayton Mall in Dayton, and Springfield. The anchor physician at each of these urgent care facilities is also the Personal Investigator for the studies. We use central Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Data BankHUCR’s partnership with Hometown Urgent Care provides us access to an electronic data bank of over 300,000 patients from a broad geographic area that can be searched by condition (ICD code), time of treatment and zip code. This enables us to quickly and consistently meet or exceed enrollment goals, which, in turn, lowers the cost of the study for our sponsors.
